A Land is the product of a collage, a list of all the common nouns starting with letter A, in alphabetical order, to which the term "land" has been added systematically. Built on the same structure as the names of real countries, such as Switzerland, Groenland, Holland, Poland, these fictional terms nevertheless make sense. They display different metaphorical ranges that evoke in turns: freedom, oppression, absurdity, banality, abstraction, exoticism. Balancing between promises and fear, these words echo current events and interrogate the meaning of our relation to territory.
