Résumé
|
|
This collection speaks of the fate of Suibhne Gelt, a quick-tempered, violent Irish king whose mortal body was changed by St. Ronan into a bird condemned to wander forever through Ireland without family, clan or friend, in retribution for one particular crime : the murder by the king of one of Ronan's psalmists. A quarrel between Ronan and Suibhne (over the latter's refusal to gift land for a Church site) came to a head as Suibhne was on his way to fight at the Battle of Moira.
