Résumé
|
|
Cairo is home to millions and yet many make their home on the streets, junked up and living in the shadow of great wealth, among the monuments the tourists flock to see. With his friends from his radical student days, now either Capitalists or Islamists, Mustafa sets out to tell the story of the disenfranchised, relying on his American girlfriend who he cannot trust. Increasingly alienated by a corrupt and corrupting society, Mustafa watches as the city he cherishes crumbles around him and he seeks a cause worthy of sacrifice in a country that no longer deserves his loyalty.
