Résumé
|
|
More and more companies and organizations are attaching importance to a distinctive typeface for their own brand and its recognition value as part of their corporate identity. Type designers are increasingly focusing on creating custom fonts that are specific to their own needs and goals. In addition, the design of typefaces that can be used in social media and digital platforms continues to grow. It is also becoming apparent that the former boundary between mere typeface design and communication design is increasingly dissolving: corporate images with coordinated corporate fonts can now be designed by one and the same person who has an understanding of strategic contemporary corporate design as well as current aesthetic and technical possibilities in typeface design. This volume documents the best works of the past year, selected by a top-class jury. (Publisher)
